BASIC GRAMMAR
The basic tenses are the foundation of all grammar learning. You need to make sure you know these before moving on to more complex grammar topics.
A good tip for learning basic tenses is understanding why we use them. A lot of the structures may look very similar, but the reasons why we use them are very different, but clear. When you see these tenses used in real life, think about why native speakers are using them this way (i.e. which rules match what they say).

These complex structures will help you to express yourselves in more sophisticated and dramatic ways.
If your goal is to take an English exam in the future, then in order to achieve a higher score (e.g. IELTS 7.0 or passing Cambridge C1 Advanced), you'll need to demonstrate your knowledge of these structures.
Make sure you have a confident understanding of the basic tenses before tackling these.

Make sure you begin with 'An Introduction to English Sentence Structure', especially if your language has a different structure to English. It will give you a brief, but sufficient understanding of where words go in a typical English sentence.
